WEEKEND PROGRAM

We offer our weekend program for High School age students during the 12:00pm service time in the High School room. Signs are in place to get you where you need to be, but you can talk to someone at the Information Desk or one of the Greeters in the church lobby.

What you are going to see during our weekend program:

Check-In: We have everyone attending our weekend program check-in before we get things started. This helps us in getting to know the teens better, providing a way to communicate upcoming events and trips, and follow up with answers to any questions someone new may have about our ministry.

Gathering Time: This is the time before we really get started for the day. Kids are welcomed, invited into conversations, and given a chance to just hang out with one another.

Activity: We like to have some fun each weekend so we do one of the following:
* Play a game that involves everyone
* Offer up a challenge for those that wish to participate for a prize
* Do an activity which helps everyone get to know each other a little bit better

Worship: We spend time each week worshiping God in some way. We typically have a band that leads us in singing praise and worship songs, but we also like to mix it up with different forms of worship as well during out “Weird Worship” weekends.

Talk: We take 8-15 minutes to provide a message that is simple, practical, and relevant to a teenager.

Small Groups: We try and spend some time each week breaking the large group down into a setting that is a little bit easier to have conversations. We spend time having deeper discussions about the message topic of the day, praying with one another, talking about life, and getting to know each other a little better in a relaxed environment.

Hang Out: When a small group finishes up kids can continue to hang out with their friends until they need to leave.
