Women’s Bible Studies
Women’s ministry offers two sets of bible studies each year – one in the spring and one in the fall – each lasting for about 6-10 weeks. Our classes normally run on Thursdays and then the same class (usually) again on Saturdays - you choose the day that best fits your life and schedule. The goal is to give women deeper insight into scripture for the express purpose of deepening their personal relationships with God. Side benefits include the chance to meet and get to know other women who are on the same journey of becoming better disciples of Jesus.

The following bible studies are scheduled for 2009:

Saturdays – Jan 10-Feb 14th – 10am to noon - at the Vine

“Finding the God of the Bible"
A look at the character, nature and purposes of God as told in Scripture
Join us as we unpack the big story of the bible and in doing so discover the God of the Universe. You will gain fresh passion for God’s word and tools of interpretation that will increase your understanding …but be forewarned…engaging God through the bible will not leave you unaffected – you will be changed and transformed!

“Stepping Up: A journey through the Psalms of Ascent”

Psalms 120-134 –Three times a year, the ancient Israelites traveled to the temple in Jerusalem – singing these psalms in worship both along the way and as key elements in their religious festivals. Join them and experience a new level of relationship and intimacy with God as they show us how to bare our souls to Him & express what’s on our heart.
